The Inspiration
Justin Credible BBQ Co. got its start the moment Justin married into the Watts family—and unknowingly signed up for BBQ boot camp. Byron “Buddy” Watts, Shana’s dad and grill master extraordinaire, wasted no time handing Justin a pair of tongs and showing him the ropes. Before long, backyard BBQs became their weekend ritual, and after earning Buddy’s trust (and not burning too many racks of ribs), Justin was finally let in on the family’s prized possession: Buddy’s secret BBQ sauce recipe. That’s when things really got saucy. Justin became obsessed—mixing, tweaking, and taste-testing like a mad scientist with a smoker. What started as a backyard hobby turned into a full-blown sauce operation, and Justin Credible Sauce Company was born. Because around here, we believe life’s too short for dry meat.
